Sree Devi Kumari Women's College, established in 1965, functions under the management of the Kanyakumari District Temples, Suchindrum, administered by the HR & CE Department, Government of Tamil Nadu.
The college is situated in Kuzhithurai, approximately 32 km from Nagercoil and 35 km from Trivandrum, the capital of Kerala. It was initially affiliated with Madras University, later with Madurai Kamaraj University, and is now affiliated with Manonmaniam Sundaranar University, Tirunelveli.
Aptly named after the Virgin Goddess Kanyakumari, the college aims not only to impart formal education as prescribed by the university, but also to instill strong ethical and cultural values in its students.
